I’ve got three identical multi storey buildings (only mirrored) on one site. The way I organized my files is as follows:
- One PLN file containing all the typical floors on different stories.
- One master PLN file with placed hot-linked modules of the typical floors.
What I want to do now is the following:
Having a hot-linked module from the same master PLN referencing one of the typical stories of the same master PLN. This way if I change the location of the buildings on the site on that storey it would update location on all the typical floors.
Does anyone anticipate any problems with this method (too many levels of hot-linked modules?) it is currently in preliminary design but I’m trying to anticipate any problems I might have once the project develops more. (so far the files are small, 10megs for master and 3megs for typical floors modules but they might get big in the future)
