Zone overlap?

Why is this overlap occuring?
the two zones just touch on the side. Their boundaries do not overlap. but this darker grey area appears
Any ideas?

Have you checked if doors have any semi-transparent fill?

ok i solved it
i had to look in the project preferences to change how the zone calculations are done.
you can include or exclude doors and windows.
