Can anybody explane what computer parameters are most important while working in Archicad 19 with pointcloud (.e57). Currently I have i7-5930 CPU 3.50 GHz, 32GB RAM and
Nvidia Quadro K2000 graphic card. What parametres I have to improve or change.
I am using different sizes of pointcloud but usually they are bigger than 2 GB.
The more system RAM you have, the faster the display is. If the memory is not enough for the whole Point Cloud, the operation system has to swap which results in worse performance.
In case of the video card the speed of its memory is the most important aspect.
