importing/exporting materials

Nik,
I belive the best way is through Attribute Manager, under your options menu.
In here you can open an existing project, pln or pla, then import existing materials into a new project.

You can even save out *.aat files for later use, if you want.

HTH.
Cheers.
Ben

could someone please explain in a little detail how i can import material files from one project to another?

As I've said many times... the Help menu is your friend

Hit the Search button; type in "Attribute Manager"; get a clear, concise explanation of how to use the Attribute Manager to do things like import materials.

How about a poll to wish for bringing in attributes of a PLP file (Teamwork)?
