Template/Mod files and BIM Cloud

I was able to upload a new AC24 template file to the AC24 BIMcloud, but I am unable to view/open it thru teamwork project to update it. Is the tpl file not compatible with the BIMcloud?
Thanks,

Hi,

As far as I'm afraid, you can even store tpl files on BIMcloud, though if you wish to update it, you need to do it via the BIMcloud Manager's web interface.

If you want to modify it directly from BIMcloud, you should share it as a project, like before.

The same is true for .pln and .mod files - you can store them on BIMcloud, but you cannot edit them directly from here.

Kind regards,

Having a similar issue with .mod files as well. I brought a current project into AC24. I have modules that I am unable to see (in teamwork, I can physically can see them in the drawing) or open that are in the drawing. Typically, I would select the module in AC23 and I would right-click and edit in another Archicad instance. I no longer see that option in the right-click menu while in AC24. Also, if I browse the Teamwork Projects, I am unable to see the mod file there as well. If I log in as masteradmin, I can see the module file there. I have set my user (which is me) up with full access as well.

Maybe something has changed that I am not aware, I have missed a new feature, but either way I am confused ...
Thanks,

Maybe this will help with what I am trying to explain.

The left is with me logged in as a user and not mod file is visible, and the right is the bim manager logged in as masteradmin ( I can also view it in the manager signed in as a user) showing the module file "Unit B-2.mod"
Thanks,

OK, I think what I am seeing is... All .mod files need to be .pln files now. I can obviously view/open .pln thru AC24 and right-click to get the edit in another instance.

If this was a change I completely missed it and my fault.
Thanks,

Red,
I am just thinking of publishing .mod files direct to BIMcloud. That should make life easier.
As far as I understand, I should be able to publish.mod-s direct to BIMcloud and update them from there.
I am wondering: Why on earth would you want to open a .mod file directly?
That to me seems like a recipe for Attributes Disaster...
Would it not be better to edit the modules in the Source Archicad Teamwork file, publish them and update?
