ArchiCAD 16 and Artlantis 3?

Hi

AFAIK ArchiCAD 16 will only export to Artlantis 4.1. Is Gaphisoft likely to release an add-on to for allow this? I know Artlantis 3 is a bit old now, but not everyone can afford to buy new software every time they release a new version!

The Artlantis export add-on is developed by Abvent, makers of Artlantis, but bundled with ArchiCAD as a courtesy.

You'll need to post on the Abvent forums and/or contact their tech support. Here is the Artlantis import/plug-in forum:

You're welcome. Sorry that the response there only confirmed that there will not be an Artlantis 3 export plug-in for 16.

The solutions listed there to save as 3DS seem or save back to 15 (if possible). I believe you can still use the Reference File feature within Artlantis with a 3DS file, so that might be the best bet to stay as 'live' as possible...

Cheers,
Karl

Abvent has released an export plug-in for ArchiCAD 16 that saves in Artlantis 3 format. (They have also updated the plug-in that saves in Artlantis 4.1 format.)

Download here (usually the best bet is the source):
http://www.artlantis.com/index.php?page=download/plugin/index

or here (about halfway down the page):
