As far as i know, there is not V-ray plug-in for Archicad. But there are some other options:
The best quality render plug-in is probably maxwell render, they just announced new version

The fast one, with on the fly preview is of course Artlantis. Thanks to its ability to use reference files with materials assigned in previous projects it saved my deadline few times. But very soon you will find its limits. Also this solution costs almost the same as the v ray plug-in for other platforms.

Quite impressing is also Octane render. It uses GUP for ender so it is pretty fast (on windows and Nvidia only

My personal favorite is to use Cinema 4D exchange and V-Ray for C4D. The other benefit (and it's even bigger if you have AC 14 or lower) is C4D ability to model just about anything. you want version with Hair module in it
More less same approach can be used with 3D studio max (.3ds export) or if you don't have the money, with Blender (.obj export).
So conclusion: If you are full-time architect and do renders once-upon-time, go and get the Artlantis. If you are freelancer visualiser and have the money and time to learn, I do recommend Cinema 4D. You can get great results right from cinema, and do many more in terms of visualisations etc and buy v-ray later of jump on that train fully loaded. If you have time and don't have the money, grab Blender:) There is v-ray version for it too.
