is there a meander tutorial for really stupid people? There isn't much more in that pdf than in the archicad help file.

i think i've got the absolute basics out of the blue book (training guide)
is ther anyway to link cameras up stairs so i can have the visualisation run over 2 floors?

Yes, just put the VR node from AC at your 2nd floor elevation plus 5 ft or so, then draw a line from one node to the other to link them. (VR nodes will show on every story)
