Koh_I_Noor problem in AC13 64bit

Hi everyone,

I have a problem when rendering with Sketch rendering (Koh_I_Noor in this case).

When I set the view to Parallel Projections > Side view, everything was rendered perfectly.

But for Perspective view, something odd happened. Objects that shouldn't be shown, ie. wall studs, rafters, ...., appeared in the render.

I've tried rendering with both high polygons and low (plane with fills) for the roof details (fascia, barge and deco). I've rendered the same file on 32 bit version of AC13, on a different machine. And the result is the same for perspective view.

Any idea would be appreciate.

Are your wall studs by any chance flush with the outside of your wall surface = occupying the same space?

Even if not, why is that layer turned on? If you model studs, they should only appear in a framing view. Just turn off that stuff and your render should be fine...

Thank you, Karl.

No, the studs are not occupying the same space with the walls but you're right about showing the layers that doesn't need to be shown. Thank you for pointing that out. Turning them off should save a bunch of rendering time.

One other thing, I think I've done something wrong by accident, when I try to select object in 3D view, AC tends to select objects in the back first, not in the front. Is there a setting about this? Boy,.... think I need more sleep.

After a day of experiments to solve the problem, I suspected that it's the Generic Perspective. So, I created a new camera and render the view from this camera and everything turned out fine. Then I hit F3 to switch to Generic Perspective, that might refresh or do something to it, and now it's all good.

Hope this help for anyone who has the same problem.
