Lightworks without archicad

Hello,

In the Web of lightworks I found these images, reason why I know is not possible to be arrived at this quality with ArchiCAD. So that? I am looking for a software that recognizes the textures created with archicad and renderice with lightworks. A software that continues to render of archicad and improves it.

Dwight,
Could you please show us a finished stunning render made with LW? Just to see what it can do...

Thanks Dwight

Wood shader with texture... some example galeries from LW-site shows very fine wood structure. It may be also not from shader.

With realistic sun I use no more heaven light and sun light from LW-lighting objects.

Is it right way?

Just flew in from Los Angeles after a stunning Seminar presentation of the new ArchiCAD 10 LightWorks features. Too bad so many of you Los Angelegnites missed it. See you again later in the fall.

I've posted plenty of renderings from LightWorks as good or bad as they might be. [Hint: good, if not great]

I'd like to invite everybody on this forum to reply to Mr Red Eye Devil Face Emoticon Person with their best rendering, so we all can see what's really happening, a year after the introduction of LightWorks to ArchiCAD.

Here's a rendering I just posted on the Working In Archicad forum to help convince a new user that BIM is the way. Best thing is that these are the construction docs as well.

This one is rendered with realistic sun.
I like the soft shadow.

Michael showed me this work at last week's Los Angeles Seminar. I was impressed with its brightness and clarity while so many users struggle with glare and murk.

I'm not surprised because Michael attended both of my seminars in Los Angeles. Good for him. I hope that the days invested paid off.

He refers to "real sun."

I would like to mention that a key improvement that arrives with ArchiCAD 10 is the Sun Class Shader called "Realistic Sun."

This shader permits diffusion of the sunlight as if cloud cover softened light energy.

Users should investigate this method of shadow casting for improvements to their images.
