Night Render

I am looking to do an internal and external render of an art gallery I have modelled. Does anyone have any tips on creating night time renders?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Piranesi has some nice and quick techniques for doing this without rerendering. The image below was done with Piranesi after it was rendered as a a day time view.

Twilight will give a night effect and show more.
Having a believable source for the light helps sell the illusion.
