Possible to reduce surface resolution in display?

I haven't had much luck with the following issue:

I'm trying to get rid of the resolution lines that get generated to show a curved surface when viewed in elevation.

Example - I draw an ogee gutter with Profiler and look at it in elevation. The curves on the gutter generate enough lines that it looks like a solid blob of lines. (Fortunately, Oleg's rxGutters have fixed this problem for gutters, but I'm having this trouble with other curved surfaces that get generated.) I would like to have just the "sharp" lines shown (i.e. where the surface changes direction suddenly). I suspect there is a GDL command for individual objects, but wondering if there is something more global.

Any suggestions?
TIA-
Richard

Surface smoothness (or lack thereof) is a property of the elements themselves and is determined by how they are constituted/created.

It sounds like Profiler is not doing a very good job of creating smooth surfaces. I'm not too familiar with it since I mostly use custom library parts. Perhaps there is a way to get smoothness with Profiler. Anyone know if this is possible?
