Problem with light sources

Hi everyone

I seem to have a problem with uplight/downlight. None of them seems to work when im lighting my interiors. Obviously I´m doing something wrong but i feel like I´ve tried everything.

Btw, general light source works just fine.

Well, first you could say which program are you using

What rendering engine?
What lamp settings?
What resulting image?
Exactly what lamp object are you using?
