Problem with rendering a curved water edge

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm working on a fountain, and after doing a few try-out renderings I came to a problem that never happened to me before. I'm not even sure how to explain it, so I'm just going to let the picture do the talking.

If anybody has any idea what is causing such behavior and has any tips, I will greatly appreciate it.

Final notes: I use AC 11. The elements were created from straight lines and arcs (not splines and magic wand). The water material is just a masked image, with plain transparency.

It's just the materials of the wall and the side of the water trying to work out each others position. If you offset the side of the water slightly does it still do it?

What type of render is your image?

Well, I figured the solution would be something simple I overlooked, but this simple...
Offsetting worked like a charm!

Thank you very much s2art.

I rendered using the Lightworks rendering engine.
