System Hangup When Rendering in AC

Hello All,

I am a new user of ARCHICAD. I developed a model of 4 stories and while rendering using Internal and Light Scape Rendering engines my system hangs up.

It is a P4 - 3 ghz and 1GB ram with inbuilt video card in it and XP is the OS. I believe the system requirements are good enough for AC.

Please help me with this problem.

The inbuilt cards are never good enough for ArchiCAD, as they share the mainboard memory and usually lack the OpenGL capabilities. Therefore, it might be the case that you are running out of memory.

Anyway, I am moving the topic to the Rendering and multimedia forum; please let us have the screenshot of your model, and let us know the size. Also, how many trees, and other detailed 3D objects.

Which rendering engine?

Did you try it with all of them?

Does the model report any errors in the 3D window?
