The clipping plane of death

stefan
Advisor
More and more of our students struggle with an uncontrollable clipping plane in the OpenGL windows. It's not visible with the internal engine and it apparently only visible in some directions.

I assume this to be caused by:
- problem geometry (e.g. a single vertex that is on infinity)
- large scenes, far from the origin

But I could not really solve it. Any tips?

You mean this?:
http://www.archicadwiki.com/Bugs/Model_cut_in_3D

It was solved in patch 1183 ac10.
"ID# 53932 - 3D: An invisible plane cuts the 3D model in perspective OpenGL mode"
