yet another way

Just want to share some technique. Here is a combination of lightworks and sketch render which I think gives nice result. It is good alternative when you need to show conception and you're still not sure about the materials. Comments are welcome.

I love it! what a fantasitc look that completely avoids the cheeseburger effect, honestly I like that better than photrealistic. great work Pawel, and thanks for sharing!

cheers,

I've got to ask Pawel; where do you get your textures? (if you don't mind sharing, that is)

Thank you for yours kind words.

David:
I've tried that way but the disadvantage is that you have no control over the sketch layer - usually there is a need to erase something and underline something else.

Hassaen:
I give it a try next time, thanx.

Rakela:
Thanks again..

Daniel:
Most of the shaders I use are based on some free textures you can find on the companies' sites. This way you can be sure that your presentation will be as real as possible. The wallpaper I found here:

...and because you like it there will be some more.

2. Render using lightworks
3. Render using sketch render - in this example I used Koh-I-Nor preset, no shadow, best AA, white background
4. Remove white background, put a render instead (PS).

Ahh man, I can't get it.
I save the LW rendering as a JPG... then use that jpg as my background ... and then re-render with the sketch engine.

I can't get the sketch image to register correct, over the background LW rendering.

and .. what's (PS)?

I really like your results!

Never mind... (just adjusted the image sizes to match:roll:) .... but what does (PS) stand for again?

Pawel,
Beautiful renderings AND design of Park Lounge. Would it be possible for you to post here the sites with the free shaders you mentioned above?
Thanks for your time.

Hi Scott,

You misunderstood me. Those renderings are from LW not ArtR. The shaders I use are based on the textures you can find on the websites of different companies as a material samples, usually you need some tweak to make it tillable, than add some displacement in LW (start with amplitude of - 0,5 - 0,1) and you have some uccurate shader. Thanks for your recognition.

Cheers

Pawel,

Thanks for the link, I've already put it in my "Bookmarks to make my renderings more like Pawel's" folder
