There is no direct or automatic way in Archicad to have floor plan elements display their assigned 3D Surface colors in 2D. This is a limitation of the software, as the 2D representation of model elements is controlled by Cover Fills rather than their assigned Surfaces. These should be able to show the way fills can show colors directly in plan. The goal is to be able see different colors at the same time and still be able to zoom, pan, with text as well. This is to help for interior design, for quick changes to colors and patterns.
Goal is not to have to resort to a Saved view, 3D documentation, or in order to see colors, Axon top view, or custom image fill for each surface.
