Please allow users to adjust cover fill orientation and origin in elevations and sections, not just in floor plans. (?!)
Interior designers often need to show detailed surface finishes such as backsplashes, wall tiles, stone slabs, and decorative wall panels directly in interior elevations (for builders to read and to follow). At the moment, the only option is to use 2D fills, which breaks the live connection to the model and creates extra work whenever changes occur (from small to large projects?). Also can't control schedules this way.
Being able to rotate, scale, or align cover fills in elevation views would greatly improve accuracy and save time, especially for workflows focused on materials and finishes. This function already exists in floor plans, so extending it to elevations and sections would be a practical and meaningful upgrade, I am sure to everyone.
This needs to be implemented immediately and even taken one step further to allow for model fills similar to Revit so we can align and snap to as well as dimension repeated units/modules/setouts.
Too many times curved elements decide they will completely ignore the texture's origin relative to other elements and you have to guess in 3D where they'll align because they won't let us snap to the cover fills at all.
