In the Model view options, we have settings to show beam contour & axis lines, axis only and contour only - perfect.
Then in the beam settings we can 'Always show the outline' and "Always hide the axis'.
We could really do with the additional options to 'Always hide the outline' and 'Always show the axis'.
For me, I always show the axis line of the beam in plan, especially smaller scale plans.
But for specific plans such as a brochure plan, I don't want to see edge ring beams for verandahs and porticos and alfrescos.
However I do still want to see the beam axis line for exposed beams supporting raking ceilings.
Sure I can put beams in hidden/visible layers, but that requires adding extra layers which I would rather not do.
As we already have the options to show outlines and hide axis lines, why not complete it with the opposite options, hide outlines and show axis.
