It would be fabulous to have an annotation tool on BIMx, specially for mobile devices. I can imagine site inspections with the BIMx model with all the projects plans loaded and be able to make annotations that can be shared with the office or client
The article talks about the ability to create hand-drawn MarkUps, plus the ability to create Issues, and these Issues can be sent from BIMx to Archicad.
Is this what you are wishing for or is it something different?
But you have to admit that the tool as it is is a bit "a pain in the butt" 😉 and not available for the desktop app
There's room for improvement... it should be more like the trace reference with any view (2D/3D) underneath and a pen tool (or a couple of them) to draw, annotate, etc. And share it, of course
It's frustrating. It's true that the desktop application needs to make it easier to add annotations, comments, etc. Also, if I want third parties to view and comment on the model directly in BIMx, without needing a BIMcloud license (not everyone necessarily needs one), how can I do that? Thanks:)
