Automatic Window Sill Height in linear dimension

Hello there,

I am long Archicad user and I always have problem dimensioning windows and doors in my plans.

In Archicad we have Linear dimension and its Display the Height of Openings. That is great, but I want to show also Sill height of my opening. It is nation wide thing in my country and we have to do it manually on every window in the project (by labels with autotexts of course).

Can we have in our Linear dimension also room for adding the Sill height below dimension line? Or even better - room for custom autotexts

Thank you for consideration

Martin

I just want to make sure you are aware that there are window markers that can show the sill height?

It is not part of the dimension as you want, so this is still a valid wish.

But they will show the sill height in plan.

Hi Barry,

You are right, there are markers that shows the height of the windows sill but it is a standard in Czechia to show the height under the dimension line and in brackets.

Since dimension can read the parameters of the windows/doors this could be only "add another checkbox" wish I guess?
