BIMCloud Viewer Licence

There is a need for another licence type for BIMCloud with restricted permissions to only view uploaded files and create teamwork messages/issue from a BimX model.

The current arrangement means I have to buy a full BIMCloud listener at approx AU$850 for each user who I might want to share a BimX model with and allow them to provide feedback directly back to the teamwork model.

I can see how firms that always have a need for this type of collaboration would benefit from this new BIMcloud license type that allows them to keep a pool of available BIMx Pro connections to distribute as needed.

But for many of us the number of collaborators and the frequency of this type of collaboration fluctuates wildly. In our case maintaining a bunch of extra licenses (based on a guesstimate of future need) is an expense that is difficult to justify. So more than one option would be appreciated.

Remember when you could pay $50US to enable BIMx Pro features for an unlimited number of users on a single project? We need something similar, a licensing scheme, along with its cost, that is project-specific. So, when you need to add external collaborators, you purchase a single project-wide BIMx Pro license and share the key with the project team. If you don’t need, you don’t have to pay for it.
