Be able to add a lower door frame with the door tool

There's one option I find essential in ArchiCAD that I don't see : the ability to add a lower door frame with the Door tool.

Indeed, this option isn't available in ArchiCAD, even though it would be very useful for creating entrance doors. So I have to create them with the Window tool, which is less suitable.

If you can solve this problem, that would be great !

Have you tried the option for 'Threshold'?

Or 'Sill' which is a little different and not exactly what you want I don't think.

With the door tool, I only have a frame at the top, even I use a threshold. But if I use the window tool it's ok but it's less appropriate. And I think it's possible to have a lower frame with the door tool.

At the left it's the door with the door tool and at the right the ''door'' with the window tool.

A hinged door does not usually have a frame at the bottom, just the threshold or sill, which is usually quite low.

The door leaf itself can have a frame.

Is that what you are expecting to see?

I have never seen a frame at the bottom of a door frame (except for a sliding door).

If you want me to leave this wish open, I will, and maybe one day you can have the option for a bottom frame.

Otherwise if you are happy that there is just the threshold, I will close the wish.

For an entrance door I use a frame at the bottom of a door frame, not you ?

For me a metal or timber threshold (like this), but not an actual frame.
