Hi,
the new cloud licensing system offers a long requested option that does not need a dedicated server so that users can reserve a license for Archicad and possibly continuously check out the license using LMT.
However, what is not working optimally now with the floating license is that after Archicad is shut down, there is a 30 minute period where the license remains "stuck" on the work computer before it returns to the server.
In the case where I have a license that is, for example, shared by 2 employees who swap licenses throughout the day, there is 30 minutes, if not more, where no one can work.
So my request is that cloud license management allows for a setting where this limit is reduced.
I have addressed this with Graphisoft support, where I have been told that this measure is for security reasons, to prevent data loss, for example during an internet outage. While I understand this, I don't see why the license should remain on the computer if all instances of Archicad have been properly terminated by the user.
There is a solution that can release the license immediately, but this requires the intervention of a license administrator who is not always on hand
