When a project uses a deliberately customized Display Order, newly created elements may appear behind existing elements that have previously been brought forward.
This means that a newly created line, fill, dimension, text or other 2D element can be hidden immediately after creation, making it difficult to see, select and edit. The current workaround — manually using Bring to Front after creation — is repetitive and interrupts the drafting workflow.
I would suggest adding an optional setting such as:
“Place newly created elements on top of the current Display Order”
When enabled, a newly created element would be placed above the currently existing display stack at the moment of creation, while all existing relative Display Order relationships would remain unchanged.
