The current UI does not make sufficiently clear that “Home Story” does not guarantee visibility on that story when “All Relevant Stories” is selected.
A wall can have Home Story = Ground Floor, extend entirely below that level, and consequently appear only on a lower story. This behavior may be internally consistent, but it is not transparent from the settings dialog.
Suggested improvements:
- clearer terminology or tooltip explaining the actual geometric rule,
- visual indication of the stories on which the selected element will appear,
- warning when the Home Story is excluded from actual display,
- optionally a separate mode such as “Home Story + all geometrically relevant stories”.
