3d documents are a powerful way to communicate. With so many ways to do it, there is no reason to not have them on favorites. Templates need this also...
Favorites are related to element types and stores Element settings.
I think this wish is problematic because unless the Section, Elevation, Interior Elevation, Detail, and Worksheet Viewpoint types, the 3D Document Viewpoint does not have a Marker element that you can place, the settings of which could be stored in a Favorite.
Hi Laszlo, thanks for the reply and viewpoint about this. The possibility to have pre-defined 3d documents would be great instead of redefining them from scratch. Some could be vectorial with lines only, no colors no composites and complex profiles, just pure BW graphic drawings; other times using more elaborate with its surface colors and cut fills, providing more info, and from here WE could go on and on. The combination of 3d document definitions with graphical overrides unleashes ways to communicate our projects enabling specific views to be set and saved. If 3d documents also need a marker element for this, so be it, let's have 3d docs with markers. Nowadays, telling me that I will have to redo all 3d doc settings from each project feels like something from anther century...
