When modelling with grid lines as references it naturally is useful to have the entire length shown but for a lot of documentation it is cleaner to just show a segment. Currently it is not possible to change between these situations in different views without changing the setting of each grid element. It is however possible to interact with the reference line even while hidden - it should be possible to have the line shown as on-screen view option to aid while modelling.
