Layout title bar with built in north point

Back from AC18 a title bar for layouts was available with a built in north point.  I kept this in my template since then, but now in AC29 it doesn't work anymore.  I think resurrecting it would be a great idea, as it is a neat way to supply the north point in drawings.

Was that north point picking up the north direction from the drawing? Like, if the view was rotated, the north symbol followed?

Because that would be quite cool indeed.

This is a blast from the past.  Back in 2012, I attempted to create a title block that included the North Point.  The problem was View Orientations. 

As far as I can tell, there's no way for the Drawing Title object to request the view orientation of the view it is displaying.  It can get the project north direction.  If the view on the layout is rotated, it can handle that.  Just not View Orientations.

Because of this, there is no way to have a north point that is guaranteed 100% accurate.  I'll admit it's a pretty rare case, but the opportunity for error is still there.

In the image below, the North Point is in the model space and using the project north.

The circle with a line from its centre was drawn by the drawing title object.  It picks up the project north.

The drawing on the right had a View Orientation of 45°, which the drawing title couldn't access.

@Lachlan Green that is exactly what I thought 😕 I also wanted to do something similar, but it didn't make any sense since it didn't follow the view orientation.

We rotate views quite a lot, the most basic situation being that the site plan is usually rotated to north, while the plans are not.
