Lifesafety and Building Code Objects and AI

I bring this up as it is core to the Professional Responsibility and Definition for an Architect in the United States. Would imagine this is also a requirement in other places around the world. So often we discuss modeling and document objects, but I have not seen this topic discussed.

Revit has this tool: Exit Route Common Path of Travel. Not sure if it is implemented well.

Tools or labels needed.

Exit Route Common Path of Travel. Things like error message flag when the path is longer than allowed per code. Going up and down open stairs.

Door egress capacity provided and capacity needed.

Stair egress capacity provided and capacity needed.

The present label tool handles the Fire Rating Values, the UL wall type, the Fire Wall Type, etc. A graphic override indicates and emphasizes the wall ratings.

We already have limited:

Interior Code required signage elements, but needs more. Like an Exit Sign would be key, wall-mounted room name object, etc.

Fire Extinguisher Cabinets, but need a distance radius object from said object. The two are presently two objects and very manual.

We need a Building Code Form or Schedule for the ICC similar to North Carolina's Appendix B form requirements.

We understand this is different in the varied jurisdictions around the world, but in the US, the building code plans and forms are all very, very manual.

Ideally, all of this would be implemented in a way where the user defines the exit doors and farthest points, while AC would then generate all the required objects that could then be manually adjusted by the user.

Totally agree, though UK regulations needed in our case...
