There are 3 types of schedules available in ArchiCAD, Elements, Components and Surfaces. The first 2 are deffinetly wider in scope, but Surfaces has one important relevant parameter, Exposed Area.
This parameter is usefull, but a major drawback is that the Surfaces themselves lack in properties to be listed. Most of a Surface's properties have to do with how it looks or how it's rendered in 2D and 3D. For listing, the only relevant property is its name. Surfaces dont even have a ID field, let alone description fields or the posibility to add other information to them or to assign a Classification system to them or Properties.
The wish is for Surfaces to have more parameters available for listing (ID, description field, Classifications, Properties etc).
Thank you.
