Converting files between Archicad versions

Archicad allows you to save a file from the current version to the previous version.
Using version 28, I can save the file in Archicad 27 format.
But it does not allow to save files in older versions. 26, 25, ... 10.
To do this, the only possible way is to keep all previous Archicad versions installed and downgrade one by one. From 27 to 26. Open 26 and save in 25 format and so on.
It's a really annoying process. Unnecessarily annoying. And it's also more frequent than you would expect.
For this reason, it should not be too complicated to create a script or a small piece of software that would allow you to insert a file from any version and convert it to the required version.
This could be done if you had all the versions installed in a cloud space, and could interact with a simple interface.
I can't understand why Graphisoft doesn't implement this on its own website or why there is no Archicad distributor to provide it. The increase of visits to their website with this service would increase enormously and they could offer it in an unattended way.
I believe that, at a reduced cost, there would be plenty of demand for it.
Anyway, this is a proposal that I leave up in the air in case anyone is up for it.

Right now SSA/Forward subscribers can send their files to be "upgraded" from previous versions to the current one. Maybe going backwards might be an option for them to offer as long as you don't mind the data loss involved from current features not being available in the pervious one.
