The problem:
When we create a new transmittal set and there are layouts that were never before part of a transmittal set, their revision ID is set to 01 or similar. Also, when creating the first transmittal set, there is no way to set up the rev id format, only by overwriting the rev IDs with the transmittal set ID.
Current workaround:
Each time a new layout is created that has never been the part of a set, we create a "renumbering transmittal set" that overwrites the IDs of new layouts. Then we create the REAL transmittal set to which we manually add all the changed layouts, including the new ones. From there on the ID numbering is more or less okay. However we cannot set the same ID for a transmittal set that was used before, so if R00 is taken, the new layouts get the R.00 and similar codes. Which is less then ideal.
The wish:
Add an option to set the format of the revision ID. For example, if I want to use the R00, R01, R02 format without any extra steps.
