Text / Autotext Label Units

Currently, when using the Text / Autotext option in Labels, Archicad displays all dimensions in meters. At least, this is the case in the INT version.
It would be great if an option could be added in Project Preferences > Dimensions to configure units settings specifically for Labels.

Alternatively, the ability to select units could be added directly to the Text / Autotext Label itself, similar to how it's possible for Dimension Labels, for example.

However, the Dimension Label tool is quite limited in certain views and isn't always suitable.

Yeah, I think we can even just say this more broadly: Calculation units should just go away and they should be folded into the Dimension settings dialog.

There are some things that use the calculation units, which is a project-wide setting, and cannot be changed from view-to-view, so even if you apply a dimension setting to a view, the calculated values (in labels and properties and such) are still gonna be displayed with a fixed unit. And I haven't even mentioned that some values just follow the "Working Units" settings.

Some examples:

- Drawings use the units defined for them in the view via the Dimension dialog.

- But, even though you save views of schedules as well, those ignore the dimension settings, and use the calculation units.

- Then there are the labels where autotexts are using the calculation units as well, but other labels are random (e.g. the dimension label uses the dimension settings).

- Properties also use calculation units, so when you place them using a label, you won't be able to control the units via the view settings.

- And a neat little exception: when you have calculated properties as unitless numbers, the number of decimals is controlled by your working units...

So, I would say the solution is simply adding the calculation units to the dimension settings, so they can be controlled view-to-view, and ideally add an option to pick units.

Well said, I couldn't agree more.

We should have the option to set the units for each view separately, for each schedule separately, etc.
