improve addition of all the add-on's to the product

Why do we have to add materials one way and other assets another.

Fix it so that we can hold old objects in a folder structure.

The same for any libraries  Let them frow from version to version on the hard drive.

When you do a new install have this automated so that it is a one step process.

Do this with a catalog of all saved models, etc.

Make migration as simple as "I want the new version"

You can have a 'master' file now with all attributes in it and samples of all of your composite walls, slabs, roofs, etc., modelled.

Then you can have your 'lean' file that has nothing and you can copy & paste from the master file into the lean file.

This will bring across the composite and all associated attributes and you can start using them.

Personally, I just have my master template with everything I need in it, and then when I use it for a project, if there is really something I don't want, I can delete it, but I just tend to ignore the things I don't need.

Everything I need is there in my master template and ready to use.

Barry.

I understand this process but not simple.  A list of files (walls for example and folders is much quicker than upening up a file to then visually try and find what you need.

Then when you create one instead of (Hit save to library)  you have to tak etime to open up the folder find and make sure you put a wall in the plan for example and make sure you add a name next to it describing what you have.  and then oops you donT save properly.

the way you suggest is pretty but to as efficient as a folder structure.

Over the past 40 years we have hundreds of walls and wall assemblies that resides in a folder structure and not in the file or a file.  It would be too slow to work with.  (A different cad package
