You can see the order number in Element Information Palette (Window / Palettes / Element Info). But agree, a tool would be awesome. I wish there was also an override that would graphically highlight each order level in plan.

Hi! I've just found a solution as I had the same issue as you. If you go to the Work Environment there should be a Ci Toolbar Profile - apply it. Should help!
