2D texture don't match 3D on curved walls

Hi there, I am working on a project that has a lot of curved walls. There is one consistent problem throughout - the curved walls textures align perfectly with the straight walls in 3D but does not in 2D. See attached screenshots. Does anyone know why and how I can fix it?
