Autocorrect for BIM Query

BIM Queries in AI Assistant are a practical way to select the elements you need by describing them in natural language. Until now, they still required very precise property and attribute names, which could slow you down when working quickly or switching between different projects and standards. Autocorrect for BIM Query makes this experience more forgiving, so you can focus on what you want to select instead of worrying about perfect spelling or case‑sensitive naming.

When you submit a BIM query, the AI Assistant now runs a smart autocorrect step in the background. It looks for property‑like terms in your prompt, compares them to the properties available in your project, and automatically substitutes the closest valid match before executing the selection. In practice, this means that if you type “firerating” instead of “Fire Rating” or “structural function” instead of “Structural Function”, the system will correct it and still return the expected result. For you, this means fewer interruptions, less need to memorize exact labels, and a smoother path to using BIM Queries as part of your everyday workflow. For now, the improvement focuses on correcting property and attribute names, and we plan to extend this capability over time as the AI services behind it evolve.
