Installation instructions are a bit vague - Mac Silicon

I'm installing the AI Visualizer on a Mac Silicon computer.

Following the instructions, I ran Step 3 to install homebrew, then went straight to Step 4 to install the base packages.

Q: Should I have run the two commands noted in my attachment?

The instructions don’t really say.

Eager to check it out, I went ahead and completed the rest of the installation steps.

Everything seems to be running fine, so I'm going to go with... you don't need to run the "two commands" in my screen shot.
