Hi everyone,
I’m new here — hello to the Graphisoft / Archicad developer community.
I’m looking for an experienced Archicad add-on developer for a small paid task.
The v1 goal is a lightweight model-data extractor:
- read Archicad model/project data
- extract element IDs / GUIDs, names, classifications, layers/grouping info, dimensions, zones/room signals, and existing properties/metadata where available
- structure the data as JSON
- POST it to an HTTPS endpoint
- save a local JSON/log file if the POST fails
No writeback, no live sync, no complex UI for v1.
Later, Phase 2 may add bidirectional features such as writing IDs/status back into element properties, detecting changes, selecting/highlighting elements, or placing library elements.
I’m also trying to confirm whether the best route is the Archicad C++ API or whether Python API can support this kind of add-on properly.
If you have experience building Archicad add-ons and are interested, please reply or message me.
Thank you.
