3D model switch in BIMx?

Mats Knutsson
Advocate

Hi,

Is there a video tutorial for how to create and use the 3D model switch in Archicad/BIMx? I get a "button" at the mid top of the screen where I can choose from my exported 3D-views but it's the same as I have in the index to the left. I suspect there's something more to it!?

/Mats

Hi Mats.

I think the main advantage of these instant 3d switch in BIMx-- In an instant, it gets you to modify  (simplify or even enhance) your level of details on the zoomed area or 3d view  . (or hide/show or MEP services, structural cores, etc).

Meanwhile, 3d view indexes on the left  will revert  you back ((or zoom to fit view, at least)) on the original view on how it was published in archicad.

Just my 2cents.

Aha, slightly misleading name "3D model switch" at least for my brain. I get it. Thx.
