File> "Export for BIM Explorer" (the "new" name for VBE).
It will look for a License key.
I'm using the demo and don't have VBE... so I'm clueless on whether or not you have to purchase a new License.

As far as I know the upgrade from VBE 14 to BIMx 15 is free if you already have a license.
Not need for software as BIMx is included with archicad 15.

I suspect you will just need to upgrade your licence key twice.
Once for Archicad 15 and aging for BIMx.
And then again if you have Ecodesigner or MEP licenses.

The repeat-upgrade-until-all-licenses-updated was my experience in the past, but this time around, a single visit to the upgrade site updated AC, VBE, MEP and ED for me in one step. Not sure if that is an improved process, or just that I now have a CodeMeter key vs WIBU key and maybe CM updates are simpler (?).
