Hi all,
Coming back to forum after a while away
I am looking for an efficient way to work and knew that Master Template is one of them. I would like to learn your best experience in
1. Creating this Master Template
2. Applying it to project

Many thanks

Well, I'm not a pro but as far as I know, a master template can be useful when you need to place several drawings that should include the same legend, stamp etc. Usually it's just the project & layout info, which are pre-placed on some of the commonly used layouts, all you need to do is modify some of the project info formatting.

Yes I mean that one. Are you using it or know something about it?
But also, in a broader view, any experience in self creating master template.

Thanks

I mean master template so that for each project, I don't need to redo all the setting for dimensions, or the favourite graphic representation (like 2D representation for Walls, Doors) and other repetitive work.

Do you have any experience in that?

Thanks for your answer

This sounds more like Favorites than a template.

I don't have it, but I checked it out for a colleague who was just getting starting in Archicad.
I think it's a better template than what GS provides out-of-the-box.
Still needed tweaking and customization, but that's to be expected.

I paid a consultant (Link Ellis @ ArchiLink ) to setup my original Template.
I'm in the process of reworking/streamlining it for AC17.

Did you see the archicadwiki page?

Thanks for your info.
I've created my own template while ago but it is not really fruitful. That is why I am looking for more.
Thanks
