AC17 and IFC elements missing and wall behaviour

We are trying to collaborate with a Structural Engineer and M+E Engineer using IFC but we are noticing a couple of things that aren't working.

1 Walls when viewing the IFC file in Tekla Model Viewer and Solibri Model Viewer do not mitre together at junctions as they do in ArchiCAD

2 Some elements are disappearing, for example We have a revolving door object for the main entrance it displays in ArchiCAD but not in the IFC file. Also we have Bris Soleil elements modelled as walls using a complex profile, on two floors they are visible in the IFC but on one it isn't visible. It is a different complex profile but modelled the same way as the one that is visible.

Are there any solutions to get these elements to display correctly?

Well having rummaged a bit I discovered that the Bris Soleil complex profile the material texture applied to the fills was missing. Having applied a texture to the fills it now exports correctly.

Having checked the Revolving Door element for the same problem it doesn't have any textures missing so I'm still not sure what is going on with that.
