ArchiStair and ArchiCad 10, does it work? I've try the latest demo of ArchiStair I could find but it won't work on my AC10, I see the palette but I could not create any stair. First time after a start of AC10 all the ArchiStair will work (windows, setups asw) but I got no stair when I pushed [OK] or what the button called. If I than try to open the setupwindow, icons are gone?

Anyone who knows anything about ArchiStair and AC10?

I don't like AC10 own stairmaker, some important things are missed.

From the behaviour you are getting I can say your ArchiStair is running in demo mode.
Remember that the compatibility updates for AC 10 are not free of charge (15 Euro) so if you didn't buy a compatibility update you cannot use the previous unlock code.

All the info can be retrieved from www.cigraph.com

Yes, of cause it's demo version I have, so the problem I got is because of that?
I have never used ArchiStair on older ArchiCad but have read your manual and it look like it have the features I need.

Oh what a great tool, love it!

But I missed something, I would like to have the possibility editing the rails independently, not only right/left/both option. Could I or this function doesn't exists?

I was just wondering, is there any word on archistair 2? It seemed (to me at least) that it was close to coming out about 6 months ago, and I still haven't seen or heard anything. I love the current version, but I know there have to be improvements that I sorely miss in this version.

So, any news or updates?

Unbfortunatelly the next major update has been delayed.
Now ArchiCAD 11 is coming soon so another delay occured... I suppose we will start to work on the new update after the AC 11 release.

P.S. of course this is the right moment to address me your requests for the next version.

Please put in an interface which allows much finer control over the form and assembly of the components of a staircases. That way we can produce proper details from the stair model that can be issued to the joiners shop. I know it's a big request but Graphisoft clearly can't design a proper stairmaker after several years of asking. Perhaps Cigraph can?

ArchiStair is already good as a visualisation tool and I use it a lot. Just can it be more of a detailing tool as well?
