Archicad 12 - importing a DWG with a title block in Pspace

question:
when importing/opening up a DWG file in Archicad, the titleblock in autocad is in PSpace, and the linework is in MSpace (model space). Where does the titleblock linework show up in the PLN imported new file?? I can't seem to find the linework for the title block information.....

...come on folks..someone here has to know the answer to this question. What happens to the linework from the title sheet information when a file is imported into archicad from the DWG format???

Rob,

It depends how you are getting the dwg into ArchiCAD.

If you simply 'open' the dwg file, a new layout is created for each paperspace based sheet with all corresponding lines included etc.

If you place the drawing using the 'drawing' icon, it just places the modelspace linework onto the floorplan window. All paperspace items are ignored.

If you merge the dwg file you have two options. Either merge the modelspace linework into whichever view you like, or add the paperspace items to new layouts.

Hope that helps.

will try different methods to see if I can actually "get" the 2d pspace linework to show up.
