Hi Roger C. This used to be an issue with older builds of the Revit add-in. Since the 5005 build, we have not experienced it. Please try downloading the latest build:

Forgot to mention I've already got the latest version of the addin. My OS is Windows 10 64 pro, if it has to be mentioned.
It has to be said that a couple of friends of mine had the same problem. We needed to exchange ifc models between archicad and revit for a competition, and neither of them could properly run the addin. Our version of Revit is spanish located, so could it be an issue there?
