Archicad to autocad

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi guys

I am exporting from archicad to autocad, by placing all the drawings in the layout and saving the layout as a dwg file. (i have my own dwg translator settings)

What i dont understand is what defines the location of the different drawings in the autocad file, because i have them all aligned and next to each other in the archicad layout but when i open the dwg file the drawings are all over the place.

In the translator save options i have set the save layout as paper view with cropped view content, because otherwise my pens and layer configuration dont work and all the objects end up being exploded

any ideas?

Thanks
