Architerra 3.0 Q

I just got Architerra 3.0...
Downloaded the manual and just started to play with it.
I start with a prob drawing an outline. I always get a message "the resulting outline has less than three nodes"
Even when I draw an archicad fill and try to outline it I get the same message...
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks...

Hi Lukas

I'm new to Architerra, and i couldn't get my head around the program. I was trying to create very simple terrains, but never could be able to get anything out of it. Could you give me some basic tips of creating a smooth surfaced terrain out of given contours??? thanks a million!!!

LukasB, I just found out that the altitude wasn't set right, thats why no matter how hard i tried, it all turned out flat ;( Now the question is how to make the terrain 'smooth', as my model are very faceted with triangulations. Like the one shows in the link http://www.cigraph.it/cigraph/pagetrans.do?action=current_product&prodotti_id=24

and the last second image of

I'm not an expert, I've only used it once. Try adding Architerra Hotspots around the perimeter of your AC fill that you will use to create the terain. Then select the fill and the outline tool. After you've done that, reselect the fill (that has now turned into an outline, but it still looks like your initial fill) and choose the terrain to turn the outline into a terrain. Try experimenting with the outlines as well by drawing them as a polyline, selecting them and then choosing the contour line tool.
the manual is very useful to print out and go through it.
I hope this can help you get started...
